“ I was greeted warmly upon arrival, and the host even opened an alcohol wipe for me to cleanse my hands--a thoughtful and unique touch I've never encountered before. For drinks, I had the strawberry sake mojito, which was incredibly refreshing, and the lychee martini, which stood out for its bold lychee flavor. Unlike others I've had, this one truly delivered and was top-tier in comparison. I've visited twice, so this review is a blend of both experiences. During my first visit, I tried the shrimp tempura, bao bun, and takoyaki, all of which were delicious. On my second visit, I had the edamame, which was just okay--it was served at room temperature, but I expected it to be hot. I also had the curry katsu and gyoza, both of which were very good. The restaurant itself is very aesthetically pleasing, adding to the overall experience. A special shoutout to Sam, who was an exceptional waiter. His great personality and attentive service made the dining experience truly enjoyable. ”

“ Izakaya Nana really exceeded my expectations! In addition to the fun and eclectic vibe of the place, the food was really delicious and well prepared. My husband and I went with a friend and shared sashimi, karaage, wagyu fried rice, and the grilled wagyu beef. The wagyu was like butter. So savory and rich. The service was fantastic as well. I look forward to returning soon to try more of the menu! ”

“ Service was great except they had 1 person waiting for a cup for their pitcher of beer for over 15 minutes until we asked a different waiter. We had a reservation so we did not have to wait, table of 11. Ambiance was great and everything was beautiful, including the plating but I was not blown away with the food. It was okay. ”

“ Great place for big parties and events. We came here for a table of 7 (two children) and were seated in one of their rooms (which take up a large bulk of the restaurant). The food is beautiful and looks next level especially for a restaurant in flushing. Everything was solid, no complaints, but nothing really blew me a way. This place does a great job accommodating for large parties though and they're running regular deals on particular items. They're also accommodating if you bring a cake for a birthday and they'll put a candle on it and give you plates for serving. They also have a fun spin the wheel thing at the end if you spend over a certain amount for a discount on your next visit. I think this place is a welcome addition to the flushing restaurant scene. ”

“ Visited Izakaya Nana for a spontaneous date night. The vibe and atmosphere resembles a movie set straight out of a Japanese film. The food was tasty and the presentation was instagram worthy. I'd recommend this restaurant for an intimate date night or a fun dinner with friends or family. I gave this restaurant 4 stars because it's a tad pricey. It'd definitely break the bank if I tried eating there on a regular basis. But I'd probably return for special occasions. ”

“ This place is super pretty and it's so interesting with its interior design. When you go to one room to another, it's like a whole different vibe. The service was quick and we were able to get our orders very quickly. They even provided our cake when we asked for it and sang a song for it The food was delicious and each dish is so good in its own way. I especially like the salad with tuna on it and the creamy udon. It just hit the spot. I definitely recommend it for big groups or any events you got. ”
